Legendary Joe Bonness, 52, of Naples, Florida won his fourth Great Floridian Triathlon with a time of 9:38:34. As expected, Joe posted the fastest bike split of the day enabling him to maintain his lead during the run.  Jacob Kelly, 27, Englewood, CO was second with 9:54:08 and Scot Gac, Glastonbury, CT finished third with 9"56:01.

The top finisher for the women was Sage LaJoie, 29, of Melbourne, Florida crossing the finish line in her first ultra-distance triathlon at 11:17:48.   Second place went to Anja Blume, 39, Ontario, Canada with a time of 11:33:02 followed by third place finisher Michelle Faul, 45, Princeton, NJ in 12:10:20.
