Hammer Nutrition on Course!

Hammer Nutrition is once again honored to help support The Great Floridian Triathlon, and they're providing a substantial amount of product to help fuel you during the race. In your goody bags you'll be receiving a single serving pouch of Hammer Gel and a capsule dispenser, which you can fill up with Endurolytes at packet pickup (we'll have an "Endurolytes Fill Up Station" nearby). Each capsule dispenser holds about two dozen capsules, which should be a sufficient amount to cover your electrolyte requirements for the race. However, we'll also have roughly another two dozen bottles of Endurolytes at the run course aid stations, in the event you need more. In addition, Hammer Nutrition is providing over 2000 pouches of Hammer Gel (in assorted flavors), which will be at T2 and at the run course aid stations. For more information about Hammer Nutrition products, please visit them at www.hammernutrition.com. When you're there, be sure to download a free copy of THE ENDURANCE ATHLETE'S GUIDE TO SUCCESS.

Aqua-Bike Swim/Run Race

It is no secret that the run is what wears your body down during an ultra-distance triathlon.  For many athletes the 26.2 mile is not even possible because of injuries.  With that in mind the Great Floridian is offering an Aqua-Bike division where athletes swim 2.4 miles and bike 112 miles to finish.  The Aqua Bike is also a perfect training event for those of you who may be training for one of the November Iron-distance races.

Entry is still open for the Aqua Velo race!

Short Course Option Available!

A new 2K-60K-15K distance race replaces the half distance Florida Challenge Triathlon at this year's Great Floridian.  The race will start after the start of the Great Floridian Ultra and will share the same course.  The 37 mile bike will include a trip up Central Florida's famed Sugarloaf Mountain.  Click here to register!
